How to exhibit at the Cochrane Fall Fair

In six easy steps

1. Become a member

Before or while you submit your exhibits

Fees are $15, which includes membership to both the Cochrane Agricultural Society and the Cochrane Horticultural Society.

If this is your first time as a member, you will also be assigned a member number to be used on your tags and form.

There are no fees for Junior Exhibitors (grade 10 or lower in the previous academic year).

2. Create your exhibits

You may enter as many sections as you would like across all classes.

However, only one entry per section is allowed (except livestock sections).

3. Bring your exhibits to the Fairgrounds

Exhibits are accepted Wednesday & Thursday before the Fair at the Fairgrounds.

Wednesday: 7pm to 9pm
Thursday: 9:30 to 11:30am

4. Put tags on your exhibits

We will have loads there to give you, but if you prefer to get this step done in advance, please visit Flowers by Jenny Lynn.

Keep in mind that every exhibit must have its own tag, and your name cannot be visible.

5. Complete the exhibitor form

Please record every section you are entering.

You can view and download a copy of the form below. You can also pick one up during the Fresh from the Farm Market on Saturdays or  during exhibit drop off time.

6. Win prizes*

*Not guaranteed, but you are pretty talented

Most sections have cash prizes for exhibits that place first through third.

Your prize will be available at the Fair Banquet shortly after the Fair. If you are unable to attend, your prize money will be mailed to you.

If you win more that $14 in prizes, your membership for the following year will automatically be deducted.
